Jennifer M. Valinski, Esq.


Jennifer M. Valinski was born and raised in the metropolitan Detroit, Michigan area and moved to Maryland 10 years ago. She is an associate with Hecht & Associates, LLC and specializes in the areas of general civil litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense. Prior to joining Hecht & Associates, Ms. Valinski practiced with a plaintiff's personal injury and general civil litigation firm in Annapolis. For a short period of time, Ms. Valinski also practiced insurance defense work.

Ms. Valinski has extensive experience in the Maryland District Court and Circuit Court system. She also has appellate experience before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Ms. Valinski attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies in Political Theory and graduated in 1994. After working for a year, she went on to law school and graduated, cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1999. While in law school, Ms. Valinski was a member of the Moot Court team and participated in many other appellate practice groups.
